dimensional drawings of CA-1000 enclosure

I tried numerous methods to find a DXF or DWG files with the dimensional drawings of an CA-1000 enclosure and/or an SC-2345 enclosure. I am sure someone did create a drawing somewhere. Where can I find it?

Hello,

We don't already have dimensioned drawings of these enclosures readily available to customers, mainly because there are too many dimensions that customers might be interested in. When customers use these enclosures outside of their intended use (custom applications), no two are using them the same way. This makes it very difficult to decide what dimensions would be useful on a drawing.

That being said, we are creating a drawing for the CA-1000 that includes a subset of dimensions that we feel might be useful.

It will be available via the Dimensional Drawings Page in about a week. Please check back then.

Sincerely,
Malcolm Daniel

I still don't understand it...Someone already made a drawing. How else it got manufactured? All you have to do is take out things like the depth of screw holes.
I do not need an answer to this comment.

Hello,

I can appreciate your frustration, and I know you said you don't need an answer, but I would like you to understand.

If you have one of the CA-1000 enclosures, you will notice that it is modular and comprised of many pieces. There is a six piece, extruded aluminum frame...three separate dimensioned drawings for those pieces, plus an undimensioned drawing showing how to assemble them. There is a bottom panel with PEM inserts...another drawing. There is the top panel...another drawing. There are panelettes...a dimensioned drawing for each variaton, plus an assembly drawing for each panelette that contains a connector. Finally there is an assembly drawing (undimensioned) for the entire enclosure (as it is shipped to you).

Out of
all of the dimensioned drawings we already have created for manufacturing, many of the "assembled" dimensions that you might be concerned about would not be present, and those that are would be buried amoung countless "useless" dimensions.

I hope that the drawing we provide soon will be useful to you, and that the wait does not inconvenience you too much.

Thanks for your patience,
Malcolm
