I'm having problems to adquire simultaneous voltage samples from 3 strain gages using a full bridge configuration. I am using a SCXI-1520 module (with connector SCXI-1314) and a PCI-6221 device. So far, I have tried:
1. to create a NI-DAQmx_task for each sensor (custom_voltage) and to configure the corresponding channels in the SCXI module. Bridge excitation works ok but I can not measure any voltage output from the channels. Where do I should measure the output voltage (after conditioning), in the SCXI-1520 channel or in the corresponding channel in the PCI-6221 device? Has it something to do if parallel or multiplexed modes are selected? I am using DAQ assistant in a LabView vi to acquire the output voltages.
2. to measure without defining NI-DAQmx_task for the sensors. I have configured the physical channels of the SCXI-1520 module directly in the DAQ assistant, again using custom_voltage, but without any success.
Could you advise me about the most straightforward manner to do it? Thanks in advance.
