scc-sg04 input channel configuration

Hi

I am using SCC-SG04 module with scc68 and NI 6225M daq card. I connected full bridge strain gauge (350ohm)  to SCC-SG04. The input channel to module are configured differentially Like the data sheet of the SCC-SG0X. But when I tried to acquire data using input terminals configured differentially it didn't work. When I changed it to NRSE it worked. That is the only mode it is working and I am getting some noise in that configuration. Why is it not working in differential mode?

Hi Suni,

There are a couple of things to check:

• Did you connect the AI GND terminal to the AI SENSE terminal, as per page 16 of the SCC-68 manual?
• Please review this Developer Zone article on using the SCC-SG0X modules with the SCC-68 device.
• What program are you using to take your measurements?

Thanks for the reply.

I connected the AIGND to AI SENSE terminal like the SCC-68 manual said. I am using LABVIEW 8.6. Thanks agian for your help
