ton of quesions on signal conditioner with linearization---be patient ;)

Hallo all,

does NI offer any kind of Signal Conditioner with linearization and temperature compensation? If NI not, could you recommend me a reliable and price-favorite product from any other firm? What could be the likely algorithm adopted for linearization? Is there any recommended website or book on this topic?

We have USB 6210? Does it have the linearization function or temperature compensation?

Background on my project:
I'm intending to measure the output from a thermopile of my micro sensor.

Hi!

With the 6210 it is not possible to use signal conditioning. Of course NI has lots of hardware to solve your problem.

If you just want to measure a temperature with a thermoelement, you can just use your hardware. With the DAQmx-driver you have the possiblity to choose the cold junction compensation according to your system.
