vibration testing using SC-2345 and Crossbow CXL04LP3

I would like to measure vibration using my SC-2345 and a Crossbow CXL04LP3 triaxial accelerometer.  By chance has anyone done this before?  I think since the accelerometer has a voltage output that I need to use some voltage modulels for my SC-2345...question is which modules would be most appropriate.  Also, if anyone would happen to have a VI already written for this, it would be sweet..any help is appreciated.

Hello,

National Instruments offers a NI SCC-ACC01 - Accelerometer Input, which is a 1-Channel Accelerometer Input Module.  This module should be what you are looking for … it is specific to accelerometers with feature for excitation and signal conditioning.  Please look over the manual for this module.  I have attached it below.  In addition, I see you are looking for an example so that you do not have to start your application from scratch.  Using the LabView Example Finder under the browse tab, open folders <Hardware Input and Output> <DAQmx> <Analog Measurements> <Acceleration>.  There are a couple of examples there and if you move to the search tab and search Accelerometer more examples will appear.  Please note that many of these examples will be using the Sound and Vibration Toolkit.  The product page for this toolkit is also linked below.  Please feel free to contact an internal sales representative for any sales questions.  Their contact information is provided.
