Connecting Agilent E3631A serial to my computer

Hi, I have LabV. 8.0 and Agilent E3631A (serial) . I am trying to figure out the correct driver to install for this device. I've used most of the drivers available online but with each one, I get some sort of error message when I try to run an example app. For instance, with hpe363xa_LV80, I get a configure current limit error which I can't figure out. With agilent_e363x_series, a timeout error occurs which I have not been able to get rid of. Can anyone help?

Hi SESL,

First, can you do communication with this device through MAX or through Hyperterm?

Second, what error numbers are you getting? Could you possibly post an NI-Spy capture taken while this error occurs?
