Labview driver for the Credix SG1710?

I am currently trying to find an inexpensive signal generator with a labview driver. I have found the Credix SG1710 gignal generator but the manufacturer does not supply a labview driver. Their advice was to build my own. I am very new to labview and do not think I will be able to do this so the other alternative is asking this forum for advice. So does anyone already have a driver for this signal generator or know where I can get one from.

I would appreciate any help anyone can give.

Hi CStedham,

In terms of finding ready made drivers to support Instruments in LabVIEW, in the NI Developer Zone at ni.com there is an Instrument Driver Network.
This includes a library of Instrument drivers which are freely  downloadable.

This is the URL for the download search page of the Instrument Driver Network:

I have already done a search here for you and unfortunately currently there is not a ready made driver for the particular Instrument you are using. However, the Instrument Driver network also includes resources to aid you in developing your own driver as well as contacts for alliance companies capable of developing drivers for you.

I would also suggest submitting a driver request e-form - National Instruments develops drivers by popular request. Submitting a form will help us prioritize our instrument driver projects. Your request could mean the developement and future release of a driver for the Credix SG1710.

I hope that this helps you.
