Hi there!

Could you possibly provide me with some more information please:

What has been used to determine the board has a fault?

What are you trying to measure, or at least the signal type?

Have you tried using the Test Panels in MAX to bring up a test screen?

What are you running with the signal i.e. LabVIEW, LabWindows etc.?

Many thanks!

I am told that the card gives no output, which I believe to be a 1kHz Square Wave

It can be seen by the MAX software and it passes the self test function.

The signal is run from an in-house programme which, I believe runs from LabVIEW.

Hope that helps.

Hello again!

The button next to the Self-Test button in MAX is labelled Test Panel. Selecting this will bring up the Test Panel window. If you input the relevent information for the card such as Device, expected Max and min and setting the Mode to "On Demand" then you will be able to test for any output signal by pressing "Play".

This will help determine whereabouts the fault may be occuring.

If you could try this and let me know how you get on that would be great!
