Offset and Gain with niFgen Write Named Waveform.vi

Hardware is a PCI NI5421 Arb Gen.

I would like to write I16 data to onboard memory and excute the waveforms via script and need to control the gain and offset of the waveforms similar to the way you can do it with the Express VI.

Apparently, the niFgen Configure Aribitrary Waveform.vi only works with Create Waveform (poly).vi.  I see references that gain and offset are contained within the WDT format, but is there some other way I can control gain and offset other than converting my data files to WDT first?   Seems a long way around the block to control a setting I only need to set once per session.  Thanks...

You can set the gain and offset through the niFgen property node, located on the niFgen LabVIEW palette.  Simply drop the property node, wire it up like a regular VI, and select gain and offset under the "Arbitrary Waveform Output" category in the propery node.  For an example of this, check out the "Fgen Arbitrary Waveform.vi" example.

Hey Mark,

This is a duplicate post of the one here.  Please reply to that post if you are still having problems.  Were you able to get the code I posted working?  I verified those were the correct property nodes, so I think the error you are getting is from a different cause.
