Run arbitrary waveform generator with vb6 or vb.net

I would like to embed the arbitrary waveform generator within my visual basic app. Is there any info on how to do this?

What version of visual basic can I use or would it be better to use labview or something else instead?

I'm rather new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi MDE,

What device are you using?  Is it an NI function generator or a third party device?  What version of visual basic are you using?  Included with the NI-FGEN driver are many examples for using .net and LabVIEW, so if you have access to either of these, this would be the best option.
