Simulating Signal Generators for different steam power plant parameters

Hello,

I have been trying to do a simulation of different signals of a plant. I have used signal generators to simulate the speed signal and a few other signals in a preliminary VI I have created with a view to being able to log all the signals in the end.

The paramters are grouped into two sets and laid out on two tabs in the VI. I hve simulated the speed signal to go from 0 to the value specified as the setpoint. Most of the signals are digital switches (off/on) or analogue (0-100%).

My challenge is how to design a control loop to simulate the signals at once or can I just get on with generating indivisual signals for each parameter?

Thanks.

Hi maxidivine,

I hope you are well and thank you for using the NI forums.

Are you wanting to just simulate signals? There are a number of vi's that will allow you to do this.

These include, in the Express VI palette, a vi called "simulate signals".

There are also numerous vi's that allow you to generate signals, such as the palette of Waveform generation within the signal processing palette.

Is it this information that you are looking for?

p.s. Nice looking front panel!!

Thanks a lot Ashish. I have been able to simulate most of the signals. They went well.  I am working on general functionality of the software and data logging for the next phase. Thanks a lot for taking time to assist. This forum is fabulous.
