Drive Solid State Relay with NI 6211?

Hi,

I am wondering whether it is possible to program signal express to output a variable duty cycle, 60hz square wave via a digital output on a USB 6211 to drive a solid state relay.  I have checked that the voltage / current from the digital out is sufficient.

Also, can signal express be programmed to convert voltages to physical quantities before displaying and logging them, assuming I have the transfer functions?

Thank you

Hi mullenc525,

You can do both of these tasks from LabVIEW SignalExpress with the USB 6211.

To create a 60Hz square wave, you can use one of the counters on the 6211 and the counter output step in LabVIEW SignalExpress.

As for converting voltage to physical quantities, LabVIEW SignalExpress has scaling for the most common types of measurements as well as the built in functionality to create custom conversions.

Regards,
