How to run an acquisition on Signal Express with the windows cmd.

I am not able to find Capacitance measurements under the available configurations when connecting to a NI PXI-4072. Any help or guidance is much appreciated. I have the latest DMM 17.0 and SigExpress 2015.

Measuring capacitance is achieved in SignalExpress by:

• Selecting Add Step >> Acquire Signals >> NI-DMM/Switch Acquire
• Choosing your PXI-4071 Device
• Selecting the capacitance measurement function for your DMM

I see that this does not show up as an option in your drop down menu. Are both the step type correct and the DMM device correct? Not all DMMs have this measurement capability; do you have another DMM that is selected that is not a 4072? You'll want to ensure that the correct device has been chosen. 

You can refer to page 19 of the NI Digital Multimeters Getting Started Guide to see how the connections should be made with the PXI-4072 for a capacitance measurement as well.
