Load ASCII file incorrect since SignalExpress 2012

I have updatet the "SignalExpress" to version 2012 (formerly "SignalExpress 2009") , since them I have the problem that use "Load from ASCII file" function no longer works. In the step settings e.g. the delimiter could not be changed to "other" it always jumps back to a tabulator or comma. It is also not possible to import ASCII files with multiple columns. The columns are displayed in the settings but only one value is readed.

Has anyone else the problem? I would be a shame if I have to downgrade.

Both issues have been reproduced and reported to R&D. CAR 378124 tracks the issue with the delimiter control. CAR 372000 tracks the issue with reading files with multiple columns. The issues seem to be new to the 2012 version. The previous versions did not demonstrate the problem.

Hi George

I'm having this problem as well.
I do not understand this statement tho: "CAR 378124 tracks the issue with the delimiter control. CAR 372000 tracks the issue with reading files with multiple columns".
Is CAR some kind of update? If so, how do I get them?

CAR is NI's internal bug tracking mechanism. The numbers are given so that when a product releases they can be reviewed in either a readme or online document which lists some of the bugs that were fixed. They can also be referenced when calling into support if there is a question about a specific issue.
