Logged signals can not be run on my laptop

Hi

I work in the uni lab on LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5.1.

I also have uploaded the software on my laptop so that I can analyse the logged/ saved data on my laptop at home.

But unfortunately everytime I try to open a saved file/ logged signal, a window prompts me that "DAQ Assistant" file is missing.

Can anyone suggest the solution to this problem. I just need to be able to see logged signals on my laptop at HOME!

The DAQ Assistant is part of NI-DAQ.  You will need to install NI-DAQ to get it.

If you just want to read data at home, can you modify the project at work to eliminate the DAQ Acquire/Generate/?? step which uses the DAQ Assistant?  Alternately, you can create a different project to read and analyze the logs.  The log files are in TDMS format, so they can also be read by LabVIEW, Excel, DIAdem, etc., although some conversion may be necessary in some cases.

In order tun SE on your system and look at previous acquired data, you need the DAQmx driver installed, as this will install the DAQ Assistant. Have you installed this? It should be avail;able from your university, but alternatively I've linked the download page for the latest version:

this should do the trick. If this is already installed, we may need to look at other possibilities.
