Regular NI upgrades

Is there any special port (like port 80) that NI use during regular updates? I'm setting up a DAQ system with remote monitoring and control capabilities and the IT personnel is asking for this question

Hey jnav,

This article talks about which ports need to be opened for different NI software products: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/CEF5A3568A5DA71D8625732800520EA1?OpenDocument. I also found that port 80 is used to activate software, so you may need to make sure that port 80 is not blocked for incoming traffic.
