Signal Express Measurement Type Error (Torque Units)

Hello,

I am using the Sound and Vibration suite and ran into a problem trying to set the measurement type to "Torque (Bridge)".  My DAQ card is a NI--PXIe 4330 and I'm running the tool with the Stand Alone Interactive Acquisition.  The tool generates an "Error -200077 occcured at DAQ Assistnat" stating that "Pounds" is not a supported value for this property.  The Error Window states that "You Can Select: Nm, oz-in, lb-in, lb-ft, From Custom Scale", but I continue to receive the same error message after setting the units through Custom Scale. The message is generated regardless of what type of units I select, Nm, oz-in, etc..  I changed my measurement type to "Bridge" and was able to acquire data.  The default units that appear when I select Torque (Bridge) as the measurement type are pounds, which leads me to believe Signal Express somehow thinks the user is requesting pounds as the units even after changing it.  Could this be a bug in the Torque measurment type or is there some additional parameter that I need to set.  The same error occurs regardless of the number of channels that I have setup.

Thanks

JDubb,

I am confused when you say the default measurement type is pounds. When I first open the DAQmx Acquire Torque (Bridge) the first type selected in "Scaled Units" is "lb-in" using the PXIe-4330 not "lb". Are you talking about the "Custom Scaling" "Pre-Scaled" data? Are you sure that you have selected the correct device (ai for 4330) for the Torque (Bridge) measurement. Perhaps you also have some problems with the installation of your NI-DAQmx and updating/reinstalling may give you better results.
