Signal Express runs out of memory

I am performing low speed logging with a Compact DAQ, recording 4 channels once per second, automatically convert log file to ascii, stop logging after 12 hours and automatically start a new log. After about 3 days of this the application stopped and displayed an 'out of memory' error. Does Signal Express keep all the log files displayed in the log list in memory and will deleting the unactive ones from the project (but keeping them on disk) eliminate this problem ?

After doing some tests, it does seem that Signal Express does keep all the log files in the log list in memory. Deleting the inactive ones should eliminate the problem and seems like a good next step.

One other option would be to not record the log and only use the Save to ASCII step. This way you will not fill up memory with logs and the data will still be saved to ASCII files.
