SignalExpress will not recognize NI USB -9211A but will recognize NI eDAQ-9172

Hello,

I am trying to get some temperature readings from a NI USB-9161 USB carrier with a NI cRIO-9211 installed.  When I plug in my device signal express does not recognize it.   I also have a NI eDAQ-9172 which I was able to configure in Labview Signal Express 2009.  I don't know if I have a driver problem or something is wrong with the NI USB-9161 carrier. I  do have one thermocouple plugged in presnently.

Can you communicate with the device in Measurement and Automation Explorer? You should be able to see it underneath Devices and Interfaces and be able to do a Self Test or use the Test Panels.

I tried previous idea but only "Network Devices" and  "PXI System ( Unidentified )"    came up.  Both did not allow me to see my instrument and do a self test.  Any other ideas?
