I try to use Sound&Vibration Assistant 2011 (= Signal Express for vibration measurement). I have a NI USB 4431 card with a IEPE Hammer and a IEPE Accelerometer.
I would like to compute FRF between triggered hammer and accelerometer.The FRF must be computed with the triggered datas of stimulus(hammer) and response (acceleration)
I didn't use the analog triggering (possible in the Acquire task) but I added a trigger in order to start on the hammer impact with a pre-trigger.
How can I have the triggered accelerometer signal ?
In the NI example, they defined 2 acceleration signals as measurement type, one for the hammer and the other for the accelerometer, so it is possible to group the triggered datas. I find it strange to define a force as an acceleration...
In my case I would prefer define a Force (IEPE) measurement type for the hammer and my accelerometer as an acceleration, but it seems I can not have the same trigger for the 2 measurement types.
Furthermore, I would like to add a boolean button in order to accept or reject the hit manually and then compute the averaged FRF and coherence. Is it possible ???
