controlling an osciloscope from TekTRonix

Hi dears,

I have a quick questions and maybe it seems very basic but please help me:

I have an osciloscope from tekTRonix and it supports signal express, now, i want to use this one along with my other NI products to set up my test board and control it with a code in LV genreal. The simple issue that I am confused about is that while my osciloscope supports signal express Can I use it in my set up and programming in LV instead of signal express?

Tektronix scopes are typically well supported in LabVIEW.  The instrument drivers on ni.com currently have 326 drivers from Tek, 173 of which are for oscilloscopes.  Most of those support families of instruments, so you should be able to find just about anything.  If you can't find it, look at the drivers that came with your scope.  There is a good chance it is there.  The Tek website also has software downloads.  Finally, if all else fails, give your local Tek representative a call.  I would be very surprised if you could not find what you need.

If you cannot find what you need, post your scope model and we can take a look at the issue.  At worst, you can use VISA or the IVI class drivers to directly control the scope (assuming it has a computer interface).  Good luck!
