I am using labview to extract mode shapes and frequencies for steel structure. For that purpose I attached accelerating sensors with the structure at Beam-Column intersection joints. The problem is that I am getting huge data of frequencies with different values for different channels attached with the sensors, and hence the structure, iself.
My query is where I have to get the modal frequency associated to particular mode shape as there is one frequency for single mode shape. Please advise how to get that exracted as such I have to use modal frequencies for Numerical simulation............to validate test experiment...............
