If you are using SignalExpress 2.0, the best way to save a data set is to create a Snapshot of the data. Select "Edit->Create Snapshot" from the menu and select the signals you want to save.  The data for each snapshot is saved with the project file so you can give the entire project file to others.  They can either open the project to view the data or import the snapshots into a new project file.  To import snapshots, select "File->Import->Snapshots from another project" from the menu.  Once you have a snapshot you can view it or use it as the input to any step just like live data.

If you want to save more than one iteration of data you can use the Logging features of SignalExpress.  Press the Record button to log data.  The logged data is saved in TDMS files that can be given to others.

Either of these two methods is much better than saving to a text format since no precision or extra information about the data is lost.

Note that in order to transfer a TDMS file, you do not need to transfer the TDMS_INDEX file with it. The index file will automatically be regenerated when the file is opened with LabVIEW, CVI, SignalExpress or DIAdem. Obviously, transferring both files saves you some time the first time you open the TDMS file.

The easiest way to share data is to send the entire log directory for your project at \My Documents\SignalExpress Data
Your colleague can then load this data into labVIEW SignalExpress by selecting File->Import->import Logged Signals from SignalExpress TDMS file...
