I've got a simple frequency generator (battery powered) connected to a BNC patch panel which is connected to my computer. I'm trying to read a frequency. I add add the frequency step (add step >> Acquire signal >> DAQmx >> analog input >> frequency). As soon as I hit the run I instantly have an error, basically for whatever reason even though I've added the step for frequency, the error on the step itself says that it's expecting a different measurement, "create a channel of a measurement type that is supported by the physical channel, or select a physical channel that accepts the measurement type"
My boss says this worked before...So I know this isn't something where I'm trying to do something the card (or something else) isn't capable of doing. Thank you for your help,
