signal express tigger

I am  using a pressure sensor to log pressures using the trigger in signal express with a USB 6210.
Is there a way to set a delay before the trigger starts to prevent premature triggering due transiant pressure spikes.

Thanks

Hi Drifter,

It is possible to add a pre-execution delay and/or post-execution delay after the acquire signal step. I have attached a picture showing the correct tab to select.  Simply set the delay to hold the program flow until you are ready to trigger. I hope this helps and have a great day.

Thank you

I'm attempting a similar project with a pressure sensor but have not located the required trigger block or means of manually entering the pressure value. Can you assist?

Thanks.

Hi Matt,

If I understand you questions you want to trigger off of your input signal when it reaches a certain level. If this is the case then this is the method that you would use.

You can also configure a trigger from the triggering tab in the configuration menu of you acquisition step. Please post back if you have any further questions
