signalexpress start

When I open SignalExpress 3.0, it stops during the initial windows of SignalExpress.  I repaired and reinstalled, but it does not work.

 

But, Labview 8.6 is working well.

 

Please adivce me for that.

Hi naba,

 

Could you let us know what happens when you try opening SignalExpress. Let's say, what happens if you wait for 5 minutes? Does SignalExpress open then or does it crash? Could you post a screen shot of that.

 

What Operating System are you using? Have you activated SignalExpress or are you using it in Evalation mode? Did you have older versions of SignalExpress installed on this system?

I uploaded the screen shot. It does not start after 5 minutes. My windows is XP SP3. Labiew is 8.6 valid version.

Hi naba,

 

I'd like us to try a couple of things

 

1) Go to Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services and sort it alphabetically. Then check to see if services that have "NI" or "National Instruments" in it are started or not. If something has not started,  force it to start by right clicking and selecting Start.

 

2) Go to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MAX\ and copy the entire "Assistants" Folder to your desktop or to another drive (D:\, E:\ etc)  on your PC. Then delete the entire Assistants folder. If this fixes the problem, then, we'd want to put the folder back in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MAX\ and remove files/folders one by one till we find out what caused the problem and subsequently repair that particular module.

 

3) If none of the above mentioned steps resolve this issue, it's best that we take this discussion offline. One option would be to call us (1-866-275-6964) or email us (support@ni.com). Also, If you post an email id or phone number, then we will be able to get in touch with you directly.
