Sorry for the late response. But no, you do not need LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite for USRP 2920. You can be perfectly successful with LabVIEW Communications System Design Software.

What modules are included in the LaVIEW Communications System Design Software vs the Communications System Design Suite?

Could not find the comparison in the NI website.
