Senior Test Systems Engineer
Job Description:
Selected resource will be responsible for the development of test system hardware and software used on commercial truck transmission and clutch systems. This individual will design, develop, test and maintain the data acquisition and diagnosis tools to support the product develop effort. This individual will also implement a source code control process and follow best programming practices based on internal standards. The individual will plan, estimate, and track the test system development project through all phases of development. They will work with a diverse global engineering team to define project goals, implement plans and monitor results. The individual will help build organization capability by transferring knowledge and train an offshore development team in India.
Requirements:
Qualified candidate will have 10+ years experience of test system design using LabView. Candidates must be certified LabView Developers and have a bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Architect certification desired.
Experience with commercial truck power train design and development with emphasis on transmission and clutch systems. Also, experience with CAN data communication protocol, CANape software usage and PLC controller development is preferred.
