DESCRIPTION:
Automatic braking system for cardiac patients is the topic we focused. Here we apply brakes when person gets heart strokes and also when road finds speed breakers, pits, hills and vehicle ahead. It’s main application is dealing with heart patients while driving.
Now-a-days more people are suffering from heart attacks. About 7.1 million people per year are dying due to heart attacks. According to survey made in US an average of 1.7 million people per year are getting heart attacks while driving and leading to accidents.So the proposed project will reduce these accidents by applying automatic brakes whenever person gets heart attack(because person cannot control the vehicle in that situation) and so we will reduce the chance of accidents.
Night time driving is the major problem for driver. During night driver can’t clearly observe pits, speed brakes, and obstacles. So the proposed project will address the above problems there by ensuring the safety of the person. There by it is feasible for long run
So here he take input from the sensors(2 ultrasonic sensors, 1 LDR sensor) and it will given to DAQ and we will interface these DAQ to NI LabVIEW and the output from the LabVIEW is given to DAQ and from the DAQ we get 5 votls output and the voltage is given to stepper motor
SENSORS:
Two ultrasonic sensors are fitted to the bumper of the car. The alignment of one is horizontal and the other is inclined
LDR sensor circuit is used to monitor the heartbeat. So if person gets heart attack his heart beat will be varied from normal rate. The variation is analysed and according to the variation, responses to the several cases are made.
STEPPER MOTOR:
Here stepper motor is used for the braking system.we use stepper motor because we need to deaccelerate the vehicle in constant manner but not of sudden jerk.here he connect the metal wire from rotating part of motor to brake of vehicle, so when input is given to motor it will rotate slowly and there by it will pull the brake of vehicle down and thereby brakes are applied.

1. Speed Breaker Ahead
2. Pits Ahead
3. Hill Edge
4. Obstacles In front
5. Person gets heart attack
