Title:NATURAL AIR CONDITIONER
Description:
TO COOL THE ROOM BY USING RENEWABLE RESORCES
Products
METALIC PIPE ,SOLAR PLATE,FAN
The Challenge
In today’s lifestyle major problem faced by people is to protect them from environmental pollution and the major pollutant of environment is the harmful gases emissions which are present everywhere
The Solution
The solution to such problem is by use of renewable source of energy with use such methods we can save our environment from the harmful gases and emission done for cooling and heating for this a environmental friendly solution is natural air conditioner which uses renewable source of energy for cooling as well as heating. Depending on latitude, the temperature beneath the upper 6 meters (20 ft) of Earth's surface maintains a nearly constant temperature between 10 and 16 °C (50 and 60 °F) so we use this region for our project
Introduction
As we know as per geothermal gradient temperature of earth increases as we go deep in the earth if we cross one layer then the temperature starts increasing but here we are not crossing the layer so temperature below the crust (top layer) remains constant so when we put pipe 20 feet under the ground as shown in figure, as the pipe is metallic so when air goes from opening no 1 its molecule hit wall of pipe No 2 it looses/gains its temp till it comes to an equilibrium and this air is put in room by fan no 2 and air in room is taken by fan no3 and this air is again pushed back to underground point no 4 by pipe no1 and is mixed with air coming from fan no 1 and again pulled back to room
WORKING AS AIRCONDITIONER
As in summer the temperature increases to 45 to 48 degree Celsius so temperature of top layer of crust is increased equally so this arrangement will work as air conditioner during summer time the hot air is taken in by fan1 and through pipe no 2it is taken to ground and ground temperature is about 10 to 16 degree Celsius as we know heat moves from high temperature to low same as water flows from place where water level is high to low so when this air is pushed back to room by fan no2 , it feels cool and same time the air which is hot is taken by
fan no3 and air is reached to point no4 through pipe no 1 and is mixed with air coming from fan no1 and it again pushed back to room by fan no 2
WORKING AS HEATER
During winter season the temperature decreases to 5 to 8 degree Celsius so temperature of top layer of crust is decreased equally so this arrangement works as air heater in the winter season so the cold air is taken in by fan1 and it is taken to ground by pipe no2 and ground temperature is about 10 to 16 degree Celsius as we know heat moves from high temperature to low same as water flows from place where water level is high to low so when this air is given by fan no2 in the room, it feels hot and same time the air which is cold is taken by fan no3 and air is reached to point no4 through pipe no 1 and is mixed with air coming from fan no1 and it again put in room by fan no 2
System Implementation
The system can be implemented anywhere as it requires one time payment and very little on maintenance as compared to conventional air conditioners as natural air conditioner requires less electricity to run because here we are running both fans by solar energy so it is very eco friendly and also cost effective measure for air conditioning particular premises
Benefits
o Significant reduction in annual primary energy demand.
o Space cooling not dependent on refrigeration.
o Eco friendly.
o Large energy savings over both natural ventilation and air conditioning and in air heating.
o Windows can be opened during the day, unlike with air conditioning systems.
o No release of harmful gases
o The fundamental concept in the planning and design of project was the harmonization of six environmental components: ‘wind’, ‘light’, ‘heat’, ‘water’, ‘earth’ and ‘plants’.
Comparison of both air conditioner
Pollution by conventional air conditioner
- Release of harmful gases.
- Release of hot air.
- Use of plastic which cause further pollution.
- Use of electricity which is non renewable source of energy.
Benefits of natural air conditioner
- No release of harmful gases.
- No release of hot air as system is self sustained also.
- No use of plastic use of only metallic equipments.
- Uses solar energy to run fans so no electricity bills.
Conclusion
There are many advantages of using Natural air conditioner as it is cost effective, Eco friendly, and has non dependency on electricity. As there are many advantages of natural air conditioner so people have to be made aware about its cost effectiveness and eco friendliness so that this system is taken as a new generation eco friendly solution to air conditioning needs of people who switch to conventional air conditioning method. This new system will create a new era in the field of environment friendly development!
