Does PXI 2532 support external trigger input?

Hi,

I checked PXI 2532 spec, it said that it supports PXI trigger lines 0-7. Does it mean it can't support external trigger input? I didn't see any external trigger connector on the front panel or terminal block of the picture.

Another question is that what the trigger signal is like, that is, low voltage and high voltage? There is no description in the spec.

And the spec doesn't tell me if it has 16x32 1-wire configuration. But actually it does have, right?

  Thanks.

Hi AhGang,

The best/supported method to import/export PXI trigger lines to external connectors is to use the National Instruments 6653 Timing and Synchronization Module. For information about using this module you may refer to KnowledgeBase 38787B0M and the NI 6653 User Manual, both linked below:

The trigger voltage level is actually a TTL signal. Please note that the 2532 does have a 1-wire 16x32 Matrix topology. I hope this helps.

Have a great day!
