How to minimize noise with 1127/1331 setup?

Hello,

I've correctly configured my 1127 multiplexer switch with the 1331 terminal block.  I've attached BNC to 2-wire adapters through which I'm routing precisely controlled DC levels.  My problem is that I'm getting emf noise with the signal and suspect that it's being coupled through the two-wire pairs at the 1331 terminal block.

Is there a terminal block that I may attach to the front of the 1127 that has coaxial (BNC or SMA) adapters so that I may minimize this source of noise?  I note that the BNC2095 product is not explicitly compatable with my SCXI 1127.

Thanks if anyone knows anything or has successfully dealt with this issue.

Hi mkelley,

I've looked into this issue, and have some questions for you. What is the form factor that you need for this switch? Does the switch need to be SCXI, or do you have an available PXI slot for the switch? Are you using Switch Executive to make these routes?

It doesn't look like there is a BNC option for the 1127, however there may be other options for this cable type. The SCXI-1193 will give BNC connectivity for the matrix, using a MCX to BNC cable to connect the signal. I am confirming that this would be the correct option for you, as the SCXI-1193 matrix configuration will be a sparse matrix. I will follow up with you when I have more information.
