LFH160 1-to1 Cable ...

Greetings:

I am using several PXI-2576 cards in a system.  Due to space constraints, I would like to create a custom interface circuit card with a single LFH160 connector for each PXI-2576 instead of 4xDB-50 connectors. 

I am looking for a custom cable that is a 1-to-1 LFH160 and 1.5-2.0m long.Does such a cable exist in the NI catalog?  If not, can you recommend a VAR that can fabricate such a cable.

Hello Dave,

A cable like what you are describing is not in the NI catalog but there are alliance members such as MAC Panel Interconnect Solutions & Services and Virginia Panel Corporation that can develop connection solutions.

Unfortunately the mass connect solutions you mentioned will not work in my application.  I am looking for something similar to the NI SH100-100-F Cable (2m), except with the Molex LFH-160 connectors on each end.

Hey Dave, NI does not sell this cable.  The only way we could accomplish this with our cable is to purchase two LFH160 cables and 4 female-female 50 pin DSUB adapters, but note that the pinouts would not be the same on either side of the cable (e.g. pin 1 on each DSUB would mate with pin 17, pin 2 with pin 16, etc).  Not an ideal solution.
