Thanks for the insightful explanation of how these privileges work.

Is there any (public) documentation on how the various privileges for the SystemLink services behave and how that works out when adding custom user roles that are meant to sit in between the user and the admin?

Or is this postponed in favor of future changes to the current system?

There isn't currently documentation that outlines what each permission is because as you mentioned, we are looking into whether the current configuration is the best way to address the wants of users.
