Customizing Charts on Free Form

Any resources that the SystemLink team could provide on customizing the charts on free form dashboard to be similar to the tile dashboards?

The free form dashboard chart customization is quite underwhelming. The tile dashboard has a very nice tooltip, with free form, not so much.
