Is there a way to deploy a build package to a systemlink server directly

Solved!

I am wondering about the possibility, because it would be very convenient to be able to build a package and upload it to an active systemlink server for further deployment.

Is it already possible?

Is it on the roadmap?

Thanks.

You should be able to use the SystemLink Web Service APIs to add packages to the SystemLink Package Repository. The SystemLink Web Service API documentation is posted here.

Although I kudo'd it and accepted it as a solution, I would like to get a VI library shipped with LabVIEW or installed as part of system link packages. Looking through the documentation, I can see it's all there, but for a non-webdeveloper it would take a considerable investment. Where as NI probably already implemented par of the API as part of the skyline tag API anyway, adding the package management API would not e such a big step imho.

Just my 2 cents.

This is a good link for getting access to information on packages and feeds bit.ly/nipkg

It includes a link to the SystemLink Package Repository LV API. https://github.com/allenh-ni/systemlink-repo-api-labview
