Server connection issue

Dear All,

I've installed SystemLink Server/client without any particular problem.

 

the client say "connected" (see attachment)

the server identify the client (i've approved it from server side) but the server say that it it disconnected. (see attachment)

Hi, have you provide the following steps:

 

-) Try to access the SW tab or double click on it from the web interface

-) Remove and add the system again.

You may also want to take a look at the log files on the client and the server.  They client's log file will be at C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\salt\var\log\minion and the server's log will be at C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\salt\var\log\master and C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\salt\var\log\key.

 

Open each one up and look for any ERROR strings.  Hopefully that will shine some light on why things are failing.

Also, make sure you have an Inbound Firewall configuration called NI Salt Master on your server and ports 4505 and 4506 are open.

thanks for suggestions!

 

I've confirmed is a problem related to our company network, with a dedicated LAN network works, there's other port except 4505 / 4506 who need to be opened?
