October 15 Test System Security Summit announced

We just announced our next Test System Security Summit and email invitations went out. Note that we are using a new registration system this time, see the link below.

 

Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2025

Time: 10:00 – 11:30 am, Central Time  (8:00 am Pacific Time, 17:00 Europe)

Location: Virtual, online meeting

Cost: Free

 

The Test System Security Summit is intended for test engineers, security professionals, and IT teams. Our goal is to talk about cybersecurity issues that are special to test systems, so that you can design and deploy these systems with confidence and with the full approval of security teams.

 

Our agenda for this next meeting includes:

  • Addressing CWEs (Common Weakness Enumeration) when building a LabVIEW-based system
  • The advantage of Memory Safe Languages, and LabVIEW’s approach to memory management
  • New resources from NI to support test system development, including white papers, new product features, and other resources.

 

Presenters include Hunter Smith from JKI, Kyle Tetmeyer from Emerson, and me.
