We purchased 2 new roboRIO 2.0 units for last year's competition - one worked perfectly, the second exhibited a power fault the first day it was powered on (red power light after boot, 0V on DIO 5V rail). Per our normal diagnostic process we've opened, air-blasted and cleaned the unit multiple times and inspected under a microscope, but to no avail. We were able to pull an extra unit from our practice robot to make it through our competition, but I'd like to RMA and replace this rio so it can stop mocking me from the shelf =).
