REV Motors Not Communicating

Our REV NEO motors are getting power to them but they don't seem to be turning on. The connections are correct and we use wegos to connect them. We know they aren't loose since we tug tested all of the connections. When we first turned on our robot, the lights on the motors was on but they turned off at some point while we were working on the code and they aren't coming back on. They also are not being picked up on the CAN connection but the Spark maxes that are connected to them are not being detected. Do you have any recommendations on what we should do?

Hello Nick_009, I recommend reaching out to REV robotics about this one: REV Robotics - Support

In the meantime, you can try:

  • Checking all power and CAN connections.
  • Updating the firmware using the REV Hardware Client.
  • Ensuring there are no conflicting CAN IDs.

Good luck!
