Hello,
Yesterday we were driving the robot around. We powered it off, powered it back on, and couldn't connect to the robot. The status light on the RoboRIO 2.0 was flashing Unrecoverable Error.
We tried pressing and holding the reset button and it eventually comes back to flashing continuously.
We took the SD card out and put it into a new RoboRIO 2.0 and it's working great.
We took a new SD card, flashed it, and put it into the malfunctioning RoboRIO 2.0 and it still comes up with the status light flashing and we can't communicate to it, even over USB.
Also, all the ports were covered with electrical tape, and we've vacuumed them out so we don't think it has to do with debris in the ports.

After I posted this, I submitted a support request (to repair or replace hardware) and the response I got after a few days was to please make a post in the "Troubleshooting Hardware" forum on here and someone would help me.
Can someone from NI please help us with this issue?
Thank you.

Hi Programming4907,
My name is Jessica, I'm with NI, thank you for posting in the forums. Have you tried re-imaging the SD card with this guide?
Was the other SD card imaged using the same guide? Also, if the SD card has a sticker on it, please remove it and try once more.
Make sure to double-check you're using one of the .img.zip images.
Have you tried using another computer? This is to rule out something else in the machine that is making the imaging tool work incorrectly (firewall, antivirus, other software or service in the background, school/company Windows policy…)
If you can do all that and still see the flashing red LED, most likely the SD card reader is bad, and we'll proceed to process the RMA. If you do that and the flashing LED goes away, it means the SD card didn't have good image.

Hello JessNI,
I took a working SD card from another RoboRIO 2.0 and I put it in this one, and I still get the flashing red LED.
I think the SD card reader is bad. Can you process the RMA?
Thanks.
