While at are second competition we started having an issue with our RoboRio 2.0 The Power light was lit red.
We also noticed that there is damage to the USB-B Port. The SD Card is still in the unit, and we have connected to it just to power with nothing else connected to the Rio and the Power light still is showing Red. I also checked to make there were no bent pins in the different open slots.
We did not program the unit with USB so did not see the broken USB port not sure when this would have happend. We used the SD card and Ethernet to program the Rio. I believe that we will need to send this unit in for repair.
Thank you

There's a couple things here and I'll touch on each quickly as I mostly just need a sanity check 😃
For the damaged USB port, are you saying the plastic piece in the middle is damaged/missing?
For the red power LED, that's signaling a short somewhere. I'm not surprised this appears when everything is disconnected. It typically means there are metal shavings that have fallen into the roboRIO and we can clear those out with something like canned air. If you open up the Driver Station while connected to the roboRIO, you should see a red bar next to a lightning bolt tab. Clicking on this takes you to a display that tells you which power rail is detecting the short. You can use that to focus energy around where you'd want to clean up the roboRIO. All that said, if the USB port is damaged I wouldn't encourage you to invest time here as you could be successful but still have the USB issue. I mostly wanted to share for informational purposes.
If you confirm my understanding of the USB port, I'll reach out to discuss repair 😃

Yes the plastic piece in the middle is missing on the USB-B port.
I checked and there is a fault on the 5V when I check the driver station.
I used caned air and am still getting the fault. I also do not see any metal shaving.
Thank you
