RoboRio Not Functional Help!

Hello,

I am with team 5857 and as of the end of last season, our RoboRio started to malfunction. The team noted that it was heating up and now it will not power on at all. We would appreciate advice on repairing or sending the device to be repaired. If I can't be repaired or it is very costly we would appreciate anyone who could advise us on where to acquire another one.

My name is Esteban Sanarrucia from NI Support.

Could you please remove the SD card and inspect the slot for any metal shards? After doing so, hold it upside down and shake it vigorously before reinserting the card. Sometimes, this error arises when the SD card becomes unseated.

Additionally, consider vacuuming the ports on the roboRIO and using compressed air to clear out the hardware pinouts.

Hello Mr. Sanarrucia,

we have tried both cleaning it with compressed air and vacuuming it. As we have the original RoboRio there is not an SD card slot to my knowledge.
