Roborio 2 ports misfunctions

We have 2 RoboRio 2.0s and each one of them has critical errors with their different ports.

One of them has an issue with its ethernet port. When the cable is connected, we have no communications and the port's LEDs seem to be stuck on.

The second one has an issue with its Analog input and DIO pins. Both do not function.

Hi Ron,

I am Juan with NI. For both ports, please do the following:

  1. Turning the roboRIO upside down and shaking it vigorously.
  2. Vacuuming out the ports on the roboRIO.
  3. Use canned air or compressed air to clear the hardware pinouts.
  4. Check with a flashlight for material making contact in the port pinouts.

For the Ethernet port specifically, have you tried a different cable? What does "stuck" mean? What is the behavior and color of the leds?

Hi Juan,

For both roborio's iv'e done everything youv'e suggested and it seems like there is no difference.

Regarding the issue with the ethernet port, I have tried several different etherent cables with no success.

In "stuck" I meant that both LED's (the green and the orange) are constantly lit even if there is no ethernet cable connected.

Hi Ron,

Can you confirm you have the correct image uploaded to the roboRIO?

Hi again,

I reinstalled the latest image on both RIO's, furthermore I've tried to use different SD cards, but still the issue occurs.
