Channel sounding using FFT and Auto Correlation

Hi,

Today, I applied channel sounding using FFT instead of employing a PN correlator. I have some questions:

1. If I use a GLFSR with a degree of 8, I get three peaks(). However, if the degree is >=10, then I only get one peak as a result of auto-correlation. I'm not sure how this output is generated.

2. Why is there a peak appearing at 15ms when there was no delay present? Could this be due to the processing of different blocks?

3. I'm confused about the PSD. Normally, it indicates the frequency at which the peak occurs, but in my case, it shows at f=0.
