Hi to all, I am working on a project which focuses to make 2x1 MıMO system with Alamouti coding(STBC). The system contains 2 Qpsk transmitter and 1 Qpsk receiver. Where I am stuck is that I am trying to create the system on labview and I have no experience. Also, I could not find any tutorial or example which explains steps of creating a diagram of any USRP example.
1.)Should I use labview or labview communications system design suite for this problem?
2.)How can I separately add I and Q datas rather than choosing I/Q rate ?
3.)Is there any suggestion for learning to create USRP examples on labview?.
Thanks in advance, Furkan

Hi Furkan
The USRP examples are stored in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 20XX\examples\instr\niUSRP
These do not show in the LabVIEW example finder as the rest of the drivers do, but they can be found in the corresponding USRP palette instead.
The modulation toolkit includes Rx and Tx PSK examples. Had you seen these before?

Thanks WenR,
I have seen that before and tried to modify it. Yet, some blocks for QPSK (mt generation psk system etc.) does not exist in Labview. Then, I started work on Labview communications system design suite 2.0 which has those blocks. Now I am trying to make modifications on the PSK Tx/Rx examples.
Sincerely, Furkan

Hello Furkan
I am working on a similar project of the implementation of a MISO 2x1 system (multiple input single ouput) with LabVIEW and NI USRP 2921, I am using the Alamouti code to transmit on both antennas, I have problems in the estimation of the channel in the part of the reception, if you managed to implement your project I would like you to help me by sharing your VI thanks ...
