USRP Residual Carrier for Phase Correction

Hello I am trying to create an advanced receiver of PSK signals.

I would like to seperate the process that are done in the demodulator (Lab 4  Demodulation VIs [LV 2012 USRP 1.2]).

I would like to match filter my incoming signal, do frequency correction, and phase correction without a symbol map input.

I would like to add a residual carrier to my transmitted signal and then use this sine wave to have correct phase information for the demodulator.  Is this possible how would I do this?

also does anyone have a 8psk soft demodulator?

Could you explain a little bit more about what you are trying to accomplish with the residual carrier?
