Hi
it's possible to set the sample rate of the USRP 2920 NI at 50 Msample/s or only at 25Msample/s
I need more sample rate..

Hi Francesco,
To set the sampling rate above 25MS/s, you will only be able to acquire 8 bit data instead of 16 bit data. You can do this using a property node and changing the Sample Width, Expected Peak, and Host Data Type properties. There is an example that ships with the driver that shows this call niUSRP EX Rx Customize Fetch Type and Sample Width.vi.
Whether or not you will be able to maintain a higher sampling rate will be dependent on your host machine. The Ethernet port on your computer will effect this as well as things like the write speed of your hard drive. Writing 50 MS/s of data to your hard drive may not be possible. I used a RAID array for previous application where I was collecting data at 50 MS/s to prevent disk read/write speed from becoming an issue. Maintaining this high throughput level over Ethernet can be difficult. If you have issues, look at this post for some suggestions.

Hello jtudor,
Please ensure that you have NI-USRP driver version 1.1
From the property node select Configuration » Advanced » Sample Width

yes I have 1.0 driver version
I need to update the driver
thanks

Hi JTudor,
If You got Your answer, please set Anthony_F's as the correct one.
Thanks in advance.

Hi jtudor,
You can find a tutorial of how to change the FPGA image and the firmware in this knowledge base article:
