Glad to hear you were able to get things figured out! You'll probably want to keep this post scoped to discovery of your USRP with the NI Configuration Utility and create a new post for other branching questions.

To address some of your question before you post it, your USRP will be visible in MAX as you might expect with a DAQ card or other PXI setup. In your next post, lay out a little more about what you're trying to do with your USRP.

I'll clarify on my previous post: the MXI card will show up under the chassis as you'd expect, but the USRP will show up as a device outside of the chassis you're using.
