Freq response from a metal tower

I need to conduct a test reading frequency response from a metal tower after I strike it with a calibrated:

Model 086C03

Product Type: Impact Hammer, Impulse Hammer AND Model 353B17  Product Type: Accelerometer, Vibration Sensor I used the Vi provided as a guide, but because I am new at Lab View I get it backward or just plain messed up.  Can I get some help understanding how the software works or example code so I can figure out how to record my data.

Could you please provide some more detail as to what problems you are having? You don't mention what company manufactures the device that you are using. Also, how are you connecting the device to your computer? Serial, GPIB, through a Data Acquisition board...?
You mention "the VI provided"; what VI is this exactly, and who provided it? Do you get any errors when you try to run this VI? Please let me know the answers to the questions above to enable me provide some help to you. Thanks!
